I believe this school provides amazing opportunities for those who want to develop a career in the culinary field. It’s the kind of college for any and everyone.
I stopped by for a tour late in the day with the head of admissions. The office building is separate from the cooking building but within walking distance of a few mins. The place seems to be a renovated 1 floor office building(s) out of where a small business would have been. The campus cooking building isn't that big but like the size of chain small-med size restaurant with a few classrooms and the rest cooking classrooms. The outside is alot more open with big wooden pick-nick tables about 7 i think and is where the final exam takes place. This area is about half the size of the building but it looks bigger because it's more open. Behind that is the school garden that has 3 structural built up beds for growing food, while the rest of the perimeter is just for herbs and things on the floor that is enclosed. The outside combined seemed to be about the same size or slightly smaller than the cooking building. They do also have a few other places around the main building for other herbs or grapes and things as well but only the back of the building is enclosed the side isn't. Overall it's not bad and decent looking for what they had to work with. The area seems safe to me with no issues at dusk and the staff is friendly and helpful, even before i took the tour. Since i have nothing to compare it with i'll have to see how it is when i start.
