I wish I had of realized, first-hand, how truly difficult but transforming college is.
I wish I had known how easy it is to spend money. At college you have the freedom of having no parental restraints. That means there's no one telling you what you can and can't buy, where you can and can't go, and what you can and can't do. At college, you meet new friends and you socialize, but that comes at a price. You go out and buy food, snacks, movies and video games, and before you know it, you're asking your parents for more money.
The lack of school spirit there is.
That there is a lot of research-based learning.
