Austin community college is a great little college. The classes were small sometimes there would only be 5 students in a class but at least you could easily communicte with the professor without any interruption. Besides going to class there wasn't too much to do as far as clubs or programs where one would be able to socialize with other students. The college was always well maintanied and rarely was there any type of violent incident.

Great place for people to start a college career if they are uncomfortable starting immediately at a university. It's great for people who are undecided in which major they want to pursue and it's very helpful for those who wish to save money. Easy classes in which I always learn a lot in, great staff and a very straightforward academic life. It's not complicated and very easygoing.

ACC has been a great opportunity for me. For the most part staff has been very helpful and I've been able to remain motivated. The only downfall is that at times it can be easy to become distracted between work and school. The ease of signing up for classes and being able to review my progress is what keeps me inspired.

I am attending ACC to complete general education courses in order to transfer to St.Edwards University. I really enjoy the small class sizes at ACC. The ACC community is always striving to improve its facilities and expand its district. Personally I like the highland campus. I really admire ACC and the support it provides for its students and the multiple services you can use on campus. ACC is an admired community college in the area and anyone who is looking to further their career should really apply.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Austin Community College is a good school for those looking for transfer to a 4-year university or are continuing education students. The professors are generally very good with experience working in their fields of study. However, be aware that there is virtually no campus involvement because it is a commuter college and most students work.

Austin Community College is a fantastic place to be able to transition from a (possibly) rough High School Experience to a 4 year university with little trouble. The staff has always been more than helpful, the student body just as much. It's a fantastic college and I'm honored to be a student!

It is the first college I have attended and while it lacks a certain centralized feeling, its facilities are great to learn at and the professors are generally helpful and pleasant. I've never felt like a priority to my academic advisors, though. More could be done to help bring students together and make them feel more welcomed.

This is my third semester at Austin Community College. They have numerous campuses throughout the Austin area. I have attended four of the campuses. Everyone is extremely helpful and nice. They offer tutors for every subject, free of charge. Some of the campuses are even open on the weekends. I plan to get all of my core classes done at ACC before I try to transfer. The class size is perfect and the teachers really seem to care about their students!
