The most frustrating thing about my school is that some of the students walk atound and support the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. I don't understand that--why didn't they go there? We play this school in sports sometimes--so it really burns me up.
There are not many things that I can say were frusterating about my experience at Austin Peay. I absolutely loved my undergradaute experience and am proud to say that I was able to balance my school life with my social life while still working 30 hour weeks at my job. I am proud to have attended this University and although am now going to graduate school at Western Kentucky will always be a Governor at heart.
The most frustrating thing to me is that i am an out of state student and i personally wish there were more scholarships available within my school that Im eligible for so that I could apply for them. I have a pretty strong work ethic and its frustrating sometimes feeling like Im not sure if I'll be able to continue to afford school without being put in continuous debt. Its also really frustrating trying to balance time between traveling, practice, and completing my work on time.
Cirriculm changes, especially within the school of nursing, can be confusing at times.
The library needs to be updated. Most of their books are outdated. The school also requires unnecessary courses such as P.E. and some others not related to you major.
The thing that most frustrates me about this school doesn't have anything to do with the school itself, but more so the climate in which the school is located. Though Clarksville is a very beautiful area, the weather can be confusing. One day you will wake up to a sunny day and the next there will be monsoon like rainstorms. It gets frustrating trying to decide what to wear from day to day and keeping track of the seasons is enough to make you crazy.
The most frustrating thing about Austin Peay is its location. It is located in the middle of downtown which makes it subject to crime and other distracting situations.
registering for classes is very frustrating. when there are so many people online at the same time, it is very slow. and you rarely get the classes you want.
Signing up for classes and finding a parking space.
Not enough diversity.
