A person should not attend this school if they are seeking a traditional Engineering degree. They can take their prerequisites but that is about it for that program.

Austin Peay does a lot for it community if you are interested in community service.
The kind of person who shouldn't attend Austin Peay are lazy students. To attend APSU you have to want to be a good student and achieve your college goals.
If a person is not hard working, cannot make good grades, or be involved they should not attend. If you are farther south than Clarksville, and do not like the cold, you might not like it at the end of the fall. It gets cold quickly and snows. If a person is undecided about what field to go into, I would suggest a smaller school or two year school until they find out. A lazy person really should not go here.
A lazy, immature person should not attend this school. Since college takes so much time and attention, only mature people willing work should attend.
As with all school, I believe this school would not be the right school for a person who feels they arent going to learn anything. I think a person considering this school should be focused, determined, and willing to experience different outlooks and viewpoints on learning.
Some one who should attend this school, is some one who wants to go to a very large campus. Other than that this school is a perfect match for anyone. We have a wide variety of degrees.
A student who is not very well disciplined shouldn't attend this school as it does have many parties and they will be more likely to flunk out if they can't restrain themselves and study first.
Someone who likes big parties in a big city, or someone who has racial prejudice issues. We celebrate diversity and internationalism, to the extent that someone who was uncomfortable with that would feel very out of place.
Someone who wants to have the full on college experience. The sports here are boring, most people are not active on campus and it is very small.
