As I mentioned previously, Babson only offers one major, which is business, and it is heavily concentrated on entrepreneurship. Most of the students here already had some kind of business background before they came in; as a result, entrepreneurship became the common language among the students here at Babson. Although the workload here is relatively heavy compares to the other universities, but every student here knows how to handle the workload, at the same time start their side business using the resources Babson has to provide.

Babson is unique because it focuses on entrepreneurship both for profit and socially.

The freshmen class FME allows students to start their own business to introduce them to entrepeurship. It is extremely business-driven and it is very small (less than 1800 U-grad). There is very little partying that goes on here and there is no football team. The student body is about 1/3 international students.

STUDY ABROAD! it will change your life and babson does a great job making programs available for you. Go spring of your junior year, you won't regret it!

i just hate this freaking school...that's why i'm going abroad for my junior year....16 months without babson...f*** yeah....

Babson is a pretty cool place. One HUGE thing though. If you are not sure if business is your thing, do NOT come. It is the hardest thing in the world to try to switch majors after being at Babson for two years. Many students get screwed with that and I pity them. My only advice in that situation is get the degree because it will always land you a job no matter what, and then choose a different profession to go into graduate study with. Otherwise, you'll screw yourself over royally.

I was going to transfer because I thought Babson was over-priced, that the NE sucks compared to everywhere else in America, the students were largely cookie-cutter, there are many douchebags, and as a small school it can't offer as many opportunities as a big school. I applied to three other school with <30{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} admittance probabilities and made it into all of them. Despite this I have decided to stay. There are people who you will find and grow to like, even if they aren't the same grade as you (they can even be professors). The academics here are outstanding and the school is largely under-rated though on the rise. Lastly Babson does indeed offer many things that large schools don't and if it isn't already here, you can bring it.

What I have said above does not even compare to BABSON. Babson is a great place. I would love to talk more about it if anyone was interested! [email protected]

The school will make you think you are better than everyone else. I know alot of people who have talked about depression because of the school. if you have any emotional issues this school will kill you. its like the army, they try to break you some dont last, the others then become successful because of it. all in all if u want the best chance at being rich, come here, if you value your life, well, there are 60 other schools in boston

Prepare to learn a lot, work hard, and land a dream job. Come here if you are serious about business, because if you aren't then you need to get out early.

Joseph

We don't have class on Friday, which is amazing! We take the same amount of credits as other business schools, but having Friday off allows us to get jobs, take an internships or simply start our weekend early. Also, when we have a monday off, about half of the campus leaves because then we have a four-day weekend. There is still plently to do though.
