My opinion on the school is I truly enjoy the school. I have nothing to really complain about the school. The school reaches all different types of education. Mainly focusing on science areas like nursing, cooking, PTS, vets, and more. It also a school that allows you to feel like and adult and allow you to have a sight in to what adulthood and the real world will be like and look like.
My overall opinion of the Baker College of Muskegon is that it is a fantastic school. You can tell that the staff wants you to succeed in what you are doing, and they want you to graduate and be successful in the real world. They teach you what you need to know in order to get employed and to make a life for yourself.
The college as a whole is very supportive and helpful, they have a variety of student services and faculty to meat your needs as best as posssible. The professors are very caring and interpersonal, they try to be available as often as possible. The class sizes are anywhere from 20-40 people which is wonderful. You a re also highly encouraged to joint in on groups, clubs and fun activityies around campus.
The professors are knowledgeable and passionate. The class sizes are small, so you get to build relationships with peers and instructors. The classes are directly applicable to real life. I graduated with the knowledge that I needed to be successful.

Apply to more than one school! You have a 3.9 gpa dont waste it on just one school when you have a chance to go anywhere. Keep your grades like they are, scholarships are always available when you have good grades.
The things i like about the school is 30 or less students in a class, and the independent toutering they have.
The best thing about my school is the diverse student body that we have. Not only do we have students like me just starting out, but we also have because of the no worker left behind act, an extremely diverse population of older students too. It is so nice to have new perspectives and views that I may not have seen otherwise.
That they do ten week quarters, rather than semesters, so I never get sick of my classes.
My classmates are fun!!
They offered the program that I was interested in majoring in.
I think that the worst thing would be that because they have such little class sizes, not saying thats the bad thing, but because they do they don't offer as many of a class so they may only offer one lab class in the morning and in the evening and that means 13 people in the morning and evening. so you fight for the spot i wish they provided more classes.
Baker is a school designed for those that are career oriented and know what field they would like to go into.
There aren't really a lot of on campus activities for non residential students. If you really want to get involved in on campus events I would suggest living on campus. We don't have many clubs or organizations. There are some groups organized specifically to your program but it depends on your choice of program if their will be a group for yours or not.
People who like to be social and go out. There isn't much to do in Muskegon and there isn't much to do through the college. Baker doesn't have sports teams or a significant work out facility.
Baker is a career and business oreientated college. It is meant for people going into business fields.
I wish I had known there were no school sports to participate in, I also wish I had known more about scholarships and grants before attending college.
