Most of the professors that I have had are fantastic. They love their job and they really care about you as a student doing well. My professors have kept me interested and engaged in my classes.
I've liked all of my professors so far. They know their subjects, set appropriate assignments, and are always available, in email if not in person. Some people complain of unfair rules, grading, or assignments, but I haven't encountered it. There are a lot of young professors who will shoot the breeze with you about university requirements, professors, course content, or whatever. There are also a lot of older professors who know the university well. There are many professors from other countries, who are published, who have worked in very interesting jobs or done exciting things.
