It is a very professional school where the instructors are very caring and work well with your schedules and individual concerns. The school is very hands on and teaches us very quickly and efficiently. We get to be in the clinical field hands on quicker than any other nursing school. I am very proud to attend the school and be held to its high standards.
Everyone is very helpful and willing to go the extra mile when trying to help me out with whatever I need. My advisors and professors email within an hour at the max. So whether I'm missing an important document on file or whether they need to speak with me they will let me know.

Martha, high school has been a breeze compared to what college is going to be like. Make every moment count for something, whether it be reading, working through practice problems, or making flash cards. Repetition is key to learning the material. No matter how big or small the assignment, always do your best work because you never know who might look at it. And finally, make time to volunteer. There is nothing more gratifying than donating your time to someone in need.
I am currently a full-time employee and attend evening classes for the RN program. I wish I would have known how intense nursing school was going to be! In addition to working full-time, I am married with two children. My family and social life is basically non-existent at this point.
The worst thing I consider at my school is the fact that it is so small and there is not a lot of diversity or kinship among students. Each group of students keep among themselves and their program and the school does not offer any sort of school functions or get togethers to allow the students to mingle and get to know each other.
I would definitely recommend a person who is disciplined and dedicated. The person must also have a great support system at home due to the school's high demands and expectations.
The most frustrating thing at my school would be the counselors. They seem very inept and do not follow through with their duties. You must babysit them to make sure that they actually accomplish what you want. Also, the financial aid is frustrating as well, and usually we will not receive scholarships or financial aid until the end of the semester.
