Bard College is a small liberal arts school best known for its academic integrity. The professors that this institution hires are incredibly intelligent and forward-looking and encourage creative thinking in their students. The student to faculty ratio means that as a student you can form friendships with your professors. Most students at Bard are studying the Humanities or the Arts (Visual Arts, Performance Art, Music) and there is a really fantastic artistic community here. Students take their work very seriously and there is a lot of academic discussion that occurs outisde of class.
