I think the major thing someone would have told me about my freshman year is that I should have organized my time more. I was never used to studying, I was so excited to do everything to be a part of my campus, that when it came to my actual education, I basically just pushed it aside. By time I realized what was happening, I couldn't fix it anymore. So to all of the future freshman, start organizing now. Start preparing now. Your future is important, so don't start it off on the wrong foot.
What I wish I had known before I started at Baton Rouge Community College is Ho to manage my time and schedule. How to be able to work around alot o other students who go to this college. How to study and techniques for studying. I also wish I had known how to follow or be able to get used to the college professors different ways of teaching their work to other students. And I also wish I had known how to manage my money so that I would be able to pay for different things for college.
I wish I had known exactly what I wanted to major in before I went to this college. But going to this college was a good start, not knowing what I was going to major in.
