Baylor’s nationally ranked academic programs, devoted Christian faith, and picturesque campus are just a few of the qualities that drew me towards the university. The 14 to 1 student to faculty ratio at Baylor allows me to make connections with professors that help me obtain internships and research opportunities. At Baylor, I grow not just intellectually, but spiritually as well as I connect my Christian faith to my education to ensure that I obtain a well-rounded education. Baylor has an estimated 70% medical acceptance rate which is about twice the national average. Baylor’s pre-med program is dedicated to helping its students succeed. Baylor chemistry professor Dr. Pinney has been conducting a research project on wiping out cancer cells and tumors and he along with his team are investigating new therapeutic agents. Dr. Pinney’s team consists of five to ten undergraduate students who are selected to be a part of the investigation. This reveals that Baylor pre-med students have a well-rounded education because of their learning experiences that expand outside of the classrooms. Baylor students are constantly involved in service projects that are based locally and globally. Baylor’s Global Missions would allow me to volunteer on the global scale while simultaneously working with students who value the same experiences.

The transition into Baylor can sometimes be a rough one because the culture of the university is quite religious but after a while you do get used to it and find it nice to have a reminder of how important a good moral foundation is. Game days are the best and you're sure to meet some very kind and genuine people!

I love it! I will be attending in the fall and I can’t wait. I have been visiting Baylor for so many years and I am excited to finally attend. Everything I have seen so far tells me this will be a great experience at a great college. I really not everything is perfect, but it is pretty close

Coming from out of state, at first, I wasn't sure if Baylor was the place for me, but after finishing my first year I have no doubt I'm at the right school. Baylor's authentic Christian commitment and academic rigor challenge me to become better, but also remind me to stay humble in my humanness, and handle adversity with grace. Baylor has brought me some of the best people I have ever met and created memories that will last a lifetime! I'd recommend it to anyone.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Baylor University is a very academically and highly sociably inclined university with professors of high excellence that prepare the students for success. It has a very spiritual ambiance that’ll keep you feeling euphoric and enlightened. Until the southern conservatism and ignorance hits you and you feel like running far from this place. Surprisingly, the majority of the professors have portrayed a more liberal viewpoint which in retrospect makes sense as they are educated!

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Baylor University is an incredible mid-size school. Between their facilities and educational standards, they allow every student to have an equal chance to be the best that they can be with the gifts that they have been given. After visiting Balor University, I immediately knew that it was going to be my new home, and I spoke with my parents and paid the deposit within a week!

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Baylor is a good school with great intentions. It is deeply rooted in Christianity and guides students to prosperous futures. I have small issues with how Baylor handles academic and social issues. Such as the academic dishonesty cases where teachers have intentionally manipulated information to fail a student, or the mandatory attendance policy.

Great university, fueled by christian beliefs. Hard, but rewarding and full of friendly staff members. The are many chritian ministries that outreach to the youth so students dont feel like outsiders. Although we are christian we love everyone on our campus

W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L. Overall, I love Baylor! It is a beautiful campus, and so far the teachers I've had class with are very kind people. I am an Interior Design major which is a fairly small majoring class, but all the students have been so kind to help other students with projects and assignments, share encouraging words, and become friends with the rest of the students in the major. My only complaint is our university was blessed with quite a bit of money at a charity event and instead of using the money on renovating desperately-needed education buildings and dorms. Baylor is choosing to construct a new welcome center building which is unneeded and served towards potential students and constructing more renovations to our newer education buildings.

What is your overall opinion of this school?

Baylor has always been my dream school and it is nothing short of everything I've always looked forward to. Baylor thrives based upon a community of students and faculty who genuinely care for one another's well-being and who seek to create an impact on the world after college.
