What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year at Beloit College?

I wish that I had known how much distraction can affect one's entire college experience. No matter how studious and focused one can be there is always one or more forms of diversion waiting around the corner to tear one away from studying or learning.

That students that come here do so because they enjoy learning in the classroom and outside of it, which is where a lot of education is picked up at Beloit College.
