I really enjoy being a Benedict Tiger. I have made a lot of friends and the campus feels like home. There is always a social event or sporting event for you to attend. The food is good. I call the Cafe Staff my Aunts and Uncles. The professors are always willing to help you if needed. There are plenty of groups and organizations that are waiting with open arms for you if you want to join. This is one of the best HBCUs!!! I am a Proud Benedict Tiger!!!!
It has potential to be a good school it’s just a lot of minor problems that need to be addressed. The professors can make more time for their students without feeling like students are bothering them. Campus could look more welcoming and it could be easier to find certain buildings
This is my second year here. There are plenty of improvements needed to be done but I believe that our upcoming President will make huge changes for the students at Benedict. There is a lot of history here since it is a HBCU. There are so many opportunities if you go the extra mile and connect with professors. The college has a large population of international students that brings diversity to the campus.
I feel like benedict is a very rich filled culture of happiness and faith. The heart of this area is friendly, and this something that is very important when heading off to college. I want to be able to be social, and active. This is is why i am planning on completing my 4 years of education at Benedict College.

If I could go back in time and talk to myself as a high school senior. Knowing what about college and making the transition, the advice I would tell myself never give on yourself ,never feel like everything is your fault and blame yourself that all th bad things happen to yourself. Take your studies more serious and keep your gpa up. Open your mouth went you ned help and stop be shy and shame of yourself. Tell yourself that you beautfiul and dont try to fit in with the party people.
My school is unique compared to other schools in its scholarship program. Benedict College offers more scholarship programs than any other school in the nation. They have dozens within the school, and they are incorporated with the United Negro College Fund organization. They also accept loans outside of those programs, and allow students to recieve reunds from the outside scholarships. endict Colleg also offers a forgiveness program; meaing that if a student is placed on academic probation and they do not improve, they are given one more chance the next semester.
Before i came to the college i wished i wouldve have known the dorms was so horrible.
i havent come across my most frustrating thing yet
It's teaching and performance-arts programs.
The best thing I consider about my school is that we are an enclosed campus. Even though we are in the city, our campus is closed out from the city life to protect us. It keeps students from being distracted of what's going on outside and it makes our coolege look presentable to parents who are bringing their children. It is secured with police all around the exits.
I would consider the work ethics. I choose the work ethics because they are unorganize in getting things done.
Benedict college accepts all and with high quality programs of teaching, research, and public service you will succeed.
Helpful to other classmates
A person that is looking to come out of college a stronger person and ready to take the world head on. This college is a great school and some of the problems that you do go through at the school allow you to take on alot of dfficulties in the real world alot easier and allow you to be able to talk to a diverse group of people.
A person lacking in self-motivation should not attend this school
I brag about how friendly the people are at my school. As I walk to class on a sunny or rainy day, there will always be someone who will speak or say a few kind words to make someone else's day. Many people in the South are more friendlier than people in the North, but attending Benedict College, that is not an issue. The atmosphere at the school is so peaceful and indulging, you cannot help but to walk around the campus with a smile on your face . I enjoy this school and the opportunities it has to offer.
