Bentley provides unique business classes known as the General Business classes that range from accounting and finance to Marketing and Business Law. The General Business classes walk you through each part of a business from your first semster so that you are exposed to how the various dimensions of how a company works which inevitably aids you choosing what major best suit you. Having taken different business classes, this makes a student more well-rounded and marketable to recruiters for internships and job opportunities.

Bentley University is best known giving its students real world business experience. Bentley encourages all students to complete at least two internships and pairs students with a career counselor who will help them find internships. Internships can be done for class credit, paid, or both. Bentley also has all juniors take a class called Intergrated Business Functions. This class pairs a student group with a struggling local company. The group of students works with the company for a semester to make a plan to turn the company around. Bentley also have a very high job placement rate for graduating seniors.

My school is best known for its business programs, specifically its accounting program. From the very beginning of my college experience, I remember being surprised by the number of accounting firms that were coming onto our campus to recruit. There are other types of companies that come on campus to recruit but none as well known as the "big four" accounting firms. Athletically, I would have to say that Bentley is best known for our basketball team. We just ended a 50 plus regular season unbeaten streak and we are almost always nationally ranked in division 2 basketball.
