Berkeley College is a great college, really enjoy the atmosphere. It's the first college I'm attending especially when I'm the first in my family to purse in a college degree. I work full-time and go to school full- time as well since my parent don't have enough to provide for my college tuition. I work hard and focus in school.

We are a very diverse group of students, so while there may be stereotyping from the outside looking it, the majority of diverse students get a long so well. It is alarming going to a school where there are so many different cultures, but it makes the learning experience so much more interesting.

  13. What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

For starters, the food really isn't that great. It's better compared to high school food, but horrible for the price I pay for it. Also, tuition freeze does not mean ALL expenses are frozen...it would have been good to know that the dorm fee and meal plan go up every few quarters. As for the dorms: people are rude, sleep and hot water are non-existant, and the fire alarm goes off at 3am. Lastly, classes for my major at the campus I live at would be fantastic, but that is not the case.
