Bethel is honestly a really good school. They value their students and staff, and the professors are definitely the best I've had. They deserve their good ratings
Bethel College is an extremely safe college whose students value academics and weekly basketball games. The class size is relatively small, which is beneficial for students who wish to have more one-on-one time with their professors. Professors are always willing to stay after their office hours to speak to students, and it is obvious that the professors truly value their students. Because it is a Christian college, Bethel College is a smoke-free and dry environment. The majority of students who attend Bethel are not there to party, but instead are dedicated to learning, even on the weekends. When students wish to take a break from having their noses in books, they can attend one of the many exciting campus activities that are offered. Bethel College is located in the midst of Mishawaka, IN, so many food options are available if the dining commons does not seem intriguing. Overall, Bethel succeeds at keeping their students safe, entertained, and dedicated to learning.
I feel very fortunate that I am able to attend such an amazing school. The professors truly care about the well-being of their students and there is a very positive atmosphere whenever you go. I feel incredibly safe and respected on-campus. Not only has my education been improved, but my faith has also been strengthened. I feel like I have grown a lot while attending this school. I have a positive few of myself and my hard work has paid off and shows through my grades. I believe Bethel has given me the right tools to succeed after graduation and I am excited for what the future holds.
I earned 12 dual enrollment credits in my senior year at Bethel College and fell in love with the campus, staff, and students. The campus is beautiful and community-oriented, with a focus on creating a well-rounded person that is involved in community both on and off campus. There is a large focus on diversity, complimented from students from worldwide for such a small college. Class ratios are small, typically 7-30 people. With this, I'm able to get personalized help, as well as get to know my professors on a personal basis. The staff is always professional, and more than welcome to help on any issue. Being very studious and with a part time work-at-home business that sometimes feels like a full time job, the last thing I wanted was a party atmosphere. What I appreciate most about Bethel is if you go to an on-campus volleyball game at midnight, you probably won't see alcohol around. Additionally, although the college is from a clear Christian perspective, they are respectful of students of other religions.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Bethel College-Indiana is 97%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would of tried to study harder and go to a better college. I would of realized what major I should of taken. I would of signed up for scholarships earlier.
Its a Christian College
It's hard to say what is bad about Bethel, but one of the things I dislike is the food service Bethel uses. I feel that they don't provide healthy food, but that it is continually greasy foods that are full of carbohydrates.
The food service is not the greatest sometimes but that is about it!
Some that wants to learn and grow stronger in their faith. Since the school is pretty small; the student would have to not want big classes. Students that like to have more one on one time with students, this would be a great school for that. The classes are so small that the teachers no everyone and have time to help individuals. Also the teachers want to help. Students that are not as out-going, this school would be good to attend because they help everyone to get to know and interact with everyone. Finally, everyone is nice and welcoming.
My classmates are caring Christians willing to serve anywhere.
three times a week we have chapel.that in my opinion and in many others is the best thing.its what students look forward to.they have inspirsing speakers and a good chapel band who play/sing amazing worship songs.its defintly the best thing.
The person who thinks Bethel is a party school and that he will be able to succeed with very little work will be in for a big suprise. Bethel does not allow dancing, drinking, or drugs, neither do they tolerate students who will not do their work.
Right now, the men's soccer team. Other than that, the family atmosphere.
The campus itself feels smaller once you remain on campus long term than when you first visit it as a prospective student or while at orientation.
Bethel College is a school of successful students as well as understanding and caring faculty and staff.
The Beauty of the campus and the size. It is a small campus, so it is easy to get to know people, but it is not so small that you know the business of everyone or are forced to see the same people all the time. The campus is way to beautiful! It has trees and ponds that are a great contrast from the city of Mishawaka right across the street.
