The other schools I looked into did not have the reputation that Bethel College has for its American Sign Language-Englsih Interpreting program. There is a sense of small school community, while not being so small that you can see the whole campus in one glacne.
Its a private Christian school, so God is incorporate into a lot of classes.
The thing that is unique about this school is how small but everyone is connected. Students here are close and students love to form study groups.
The community at this school is unlike any other. The school encourages students to take part in activities and makes a special effort to acclimate the students to the campus and to grow close to their fellow students. The staff is also very encouraging and pays attention to their students and are interested in making sure they succeed. There are so many opportunites for students to grow, travel, learn and enjoy their college experience provided here.
The one on one interactions that faculty and staff have with the students at Bethel. They mkae you feel important and appreciated. Most bigger Universities have so many students that most students jsut blend in with the rest and you don't feel as important. Bethel faculty and staff do their best to remember who you are. Alos their variety of programs and extra curricular activities are excellent. Bethel professors are also understand to the trials and tribulations of life and are willing to work with students who may be having problems outside of the classroom.
Bethel is a very friendly, get to know one another type of school.
Bethel has a very welcoming atmosphere and they make sure that no one is left out. Also the Christian atmopshere just makes it a friendly place and it feels like home.
Bethel College has a genuine focus on spiritual atmosphere without losing focus on academics.
It is a Christian based school, so the social emphasis is more on imaginitive ways to have fun rather than drinking or partying. Those things can be fun, but it is nice to have other things to do as well.
Its a Christian College
Christian, small, friendly.
It is much smaller. The smaller classes allow the profesors to know each student and makes the profs more accesible for questions or problems. Also the school has a christian backround, the other schools I considered did not.
The friendliest school with a lot of nice people.
My school is very focused on one another and caring more about eachother then themselves. It shows that in just about every where you look on our campus. Through students, faculty, alumni, and people passing by. It is serious about academic and your well being, and does not tolerate drinking or drugs on or off campus.
It's a lot smaller than most schools. It's probably the size of a normal high school, maybe a little bit bigger. But it is beautiful.
