Blinn College accepts a variety of studuents . But you definately have to be a hard worker and motivated to get your work done.
Anyone who has the intuition to go to school to get a degree should attend. All you need is confidence. If you believe in yourself you will definitely be set. In my opinion there are a few skills that you would have to portray in order to attend, which is the ability to learn and the ability to achieve your goals. Wether you like school or not if your attending school to get your degree and have a succesful career you should attend this school. Believe it or not going to college and doing well will take you far.
I feel if you are unsure about what you want to do or you not ready for a four year university Blinn is a great place to start. It is less expensive and very well paced for first time students. They greatly prepare you to tranfer to a four year college and be sucessful. It is also great if you don't want to go to a large school. The teachers work with you one on one and are very patient and will do whatever they can to make sure you are succesful and prepared for the career you choose.
Either a small-town or big city native who can endure minnesotas winters and enjoys being involved in great outdoor school activities and have an open mind for change.
A person willing and wanting to better there life and education should attend this school. This school offers great teachers and oppurtunites for you to achieve. The teachers are willing to help you one on one, due the small class. Another reason this school great to attend is because of the small classes. I feel it is better to have such a small learning atmosphere, because it is easier to concentrate with out all the major disruptions.
A person who wants to further their education but might not have the time or money to attend a major university. Also a person who needs a smaller student to teacher ratio.
