Blue Ridge Community College could use some more helping with creating better hands on projects around the campus and creating more in campus gaming and competition against other classmates during free time to create a more amusing and enjoyable time for all. All together Blue Ridge Community College is a great college and could be the start of your future.
Nice variety of online courses, though I wish on campus had more varying time slots. I've had excellent professors throughout my education. The advisors are generally helpful, but not so much when accessing the needs of an older student in comparison to a usual aged freshman. The campus is always well maintained!
BRCC is a great place to get general education classes out of the way cheeply- but not a great place for much else. I've made a few friends here, but feel lacking in deep friendships. Being interested in music at BRCC is hard because there aren't really any opportunities. However all my professors have been intelligent, caring people, and for that I am very grateful.
Blue Ridge Community College has a beautiful campus. During my time there I've had class with a lot of great professors that definitely stick to their office hours but are available to help you when they can, and are very available over e-mail. Most professors I had are more than happy to work with you and are easy to communicate with. I've had a lot of positive of experiences with the professors. There is not much around campus though, there's a subway a couple of minutes away but that's about it.

Plan study time.
I had always perceived college professors as big, scary monsters set on destroying my dreams by making their class so hard, I would fail. I wish I had known just how helpful they are at Blue Ridge Community College.
Affordability and ease of admission.
It is a very friendly environment with instructors and administrators that really give their time so you can succeed. It is also a great college if you have a disability like I do. I am confined to a wheelchair and the staff and students are very helpful in many ways. Also, the college has made it more assessable for those who are confined to a wheelchair.
This school suits the majority of everyone. You can decide what works with your lifestyle with as few or as many classes you can handle. With ages ranging from high school graduates to retirees.
Blue Ridge Community College has a great learning atmosphere. This is not the college to choose for those looking just to party.
Blue Ridge is extremely small with a wide variety of types of classes and professors.
My classmates come from all types of backgrounds, schools, ages, and situations.
I think that the worst thing about the school right now is that the fitness center does not have showers. They are building a larger fitness center that will have showers, but it won't be finished until the end of next year. I will graduate then so they won't help me.
