My school is best known for small class sizes, which give students a better oppertunity to get more individual help. If you are a student like me you need as much attention as you can get. They really make you feel like you are in a community. From the first day i got there i knew i made the right decision by starting my college journey there. There goal is too lead you in the the right direction in where you want to go in life.
The professors are usually retired and have come back to teaching. There are not TA's and the course load is most likely less than most Universities.
Bluegrass Community and Technical College is very closely connected with the University of Kentucky in terms of most everything. Most of the rules, regulations, curriculum and prerequisites are similar, if not the same, at BCTC as they are at UK. UK is widely known throughout the nation for its school pride. Whether in sports or academics, there is a spirit, a comradery, that seems to connect every student. And with such a strong connection to the school, students at BCTC seem to carry themselves with an innate dignity that shines through everything they do.
