It is an amazing school. The teachers care and help as best as they can. Small classes help me learn better. Hoping to also get a culinary degree with them. Overall a great school. I haven’t met one person who has attended and not liked it. It’s been a blessing.

I think the college is a well-rounded college. I hope that I am successful enough to keep my grades up for as long as I attend the college. There is a good bit to do, and a good variety of students. My sister attended the college last year, and she told me a little bit about it. I am nervous, but somewhat excited.

I LIKE BOSSIER PARISH COMMUNITY COLLEGE. I'VE BEEN HERE TWO YEARS AND HAVE ENJOYED EVERY MOMENT. THE INSTRUCTORS ARE GREAT AND IT IS A GOOD PLACE TO GET YOUR CORE CLASSES OUT OF THE WAY. THE INSTRUCTORS HAVE OFFICE HOURS AND IF YOU EVER NEED TO SPEAK WITH THEM THEY ARE AVAILABLE. IT IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED AND IT IS A VERY SAFE CAMPUS.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

I would be more committed to studying and making sure that I make good grades in my classes. I would not put off today for tomorrow. I would make sure that I have the books that I need to do my homework and I would never miss a day from class. Trying to get a college education at age 50 didn?t not come easy, I had to get back in the swing of surrounding my study around my work hours. Getting your education at a younger age is very important because you will still have the knowledge of what you have learnt in high school. Taking math classes did not come easy for me because things have change over the pass thirty years. Instead of going out partying or sitting in the lobby playing cards, I would be more into my books making sure I am prepared for the test that I might have the following day. When I look back over my college transcript, I am very embarrassed to see some of the bad grades that are on my transcript. I had no idea that my pass would be my future, that why I am working hard now.

The best thing about BPCC is that all the staff is so helpful, they all are willing to go the extra mile to help you. I was very skeptical about attending BPCC because I thought that they wouldn?t be helpful. The staff wants their students to succeed and the Dean of the program that I was enrolled in checked on me to make sure I that everything was going okay with me in my classes. One of my professor also email me and asked me how I was doing when I let him know I was in the hospital.
