The kind of person that should attend this school is a person with a goal in life. This person would want to make something of themselves in order to change the world. A person who should attend this school would have their priorities straight and know what is important and what can wait. This person would want to be successful in life and have a plan as to what they want in life. This is the type of person that should attend this school.

Everyone should attend this school. If you have goals in life and willing to work hard to acheive them, go to college. There will be people there who have strong backgrounds and beliefs but you have to know who you are as a person. College will make you or break you, financially and mentaly. A person who is outgoing, and attentive and listens well, are type of people who will succeed at not only this institution but any college. If you can network and use the abundant resources given to you, you will go far in any feld of study.

At Bowie State is an HBCU however, that doesnt mean that only African Americans can attend this school. We have races of all sorts, the only requirement to attend this school is passion; to learn or to find out who you are, as well as to try and get where you want to be in life.

If you are a determined individual who enjoys learning, increasing your social networks, and expanding your mind, this school is for you. Keep in mind, this is a HBCU, so make sure you are open to engaging and learning about other cultures, if this is not your own.

The type of idividual that should attend this school is a student that is willing the be attentive in class. He / She would have to be able to be dedicated to work hard in order to pass the courses offerred at this institution. This school requires a person that is dilligent, patient, attentive, and respectful. Participation in the classroom is greatly emphasized here considering that many of the classes are in a small classroom setting. This school is perfect for anyone looking for a good-education in a relativley quiet environment and affordable tution.

Even with all of its problems and shortcomings, Bowie State University offers an affordable college education. Individuals who have little or no parental finanical support should consider attending this school so that they will have minimal loans to pay back after they complete their education. Additionally, students who like a 'community feel' campus should consider this school because the small campus allows students to become a part of a college family as opposed to feeling drowned in the deluge of students, a mere number on the roster of professors.

A person who is focused and determined to attend college., someone who fits in well with a smaller campus and have the ability to work on their own.
