I believe the best thing about my school is the size of the population. The campus size is small and it allows for a more close knit community for the students and teachers. The classes are geared more towards personalized learning and more hands on lessons. Everyone knows each other and is friendly around the campus.

The best t hing about my school is the size of it. It's a rather small school with only 6,000 or so students. The professors here know your face and some even know your name. Here I don't have to feel like a number. Bowie State is like a family and they treat everyone as such. Here I don't feel out of place , I fit right in.

I am a transfer student. I studied 4 years at James Madison University and decided to get another degree at GMU. So far I like the professors and the material that I am learning.

My school is small and friendly. As long as you are open and willing to leave your dorm room you can make friends. Also for people in the area it is a very commuter friendly enviroment. Also with an instate tuition under 3,500 per semester and under 8500 out of state its a great value for a quality education. THey are also very open to starting clubs and orginazations so even though there arent many now they are ready and willing for more.

The best thing about BSU is the size. The classes are small so student-teacher relations are strong. I know personally I have worked for my professors and can walk into their offices almost anytime of day. My favorite thing about the campus is the relationships I have bulit with my professors.

Class Size. At BSU you don't feel like a number and you can really get to know your instructors.

The professors at Bowie State are extremeley nice and really care care about thier students. They really take it upon themselves to make themselves avaliable to their students, even coming to campus just to help their students.

Location is the best thing about Bowie State University. We are located within thirty minutes from Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis.

The best thing about my school is its population. Bowie State is very small, therefor one is able to get the help he/she may need. One can get to know their teachers and classmates. You are just not a number at Bowie State. Your teacher and classmates get the chance to really know and understand you. One is able to meet new people and connect with them in and out of the classroom. I really appreciate the fact that Bowie State is not as populated as other colleges.

The best thing about Bowie State is that it is a small school, therefore, it is very community oriented. The people there are very friendly and generally know each other. Since it's a small school the organizations are very close and united.

There are many things I like about my school such as the beauty of the environment and the buildings, the students and teachers, but what I consider the best thing about my school is the sizes of the classrooms. When applying for college, I choose schools that had a small amount of students, about 3500 to 5000 students, with classes that where small enough for the students to easily interact with the teacher. Personally, I feel that students interacting with their teacher is the best way to learn.

The Social Work department is the best thing at my school. The professors in this department are both professional and passionate about the field. It's not rare to see students meeting with professors after class to discuss classwork, career goals, or just personal issues. The professors com to class organized with lesson and discussion plans. When students start to struggle th professors reach out and encourage them. I love my department. After meeting the professors and seeing their passion it validated my career choice.

In my opinion, the best thing about my school is the faculty. Most of them are friendly and easy to talk to.

The best things about my school is the close proximity to home, the small size of the campus, the dedication of the professors to the students, and the overall atmosphere. I am a commuter student at Bowie State University and I love being able to drive to school and then come back home. The size of the campus appealed to me because I tend to feel more comfortable in more intimate surrounding where the professors and student really get a chance to get to know each other. Last the overall feel of the school is just so laid back.

The best thing I considered about my college, is how small Bowie State is. My class can have 20-50 students in a classroom. The teacher can reached at anytime and they also remember your name. The president and staff of Bowie State, take our features seriously, meaning our academics and what to do after college. I could have not choosen the best college. This college is giving me the tools I need to become a doctor! I feel blessed to attend a good small and afforable college!

The best thing about my school is the social life. People on campus are helpful, friendly, and talented. These people make the school enjoyable.

I would have to say the fact that it is a HBCU and it is still culturelly diverse. People from all cultures get along the same as they would in their own culture.

When thinking about Bowie State, the best aspect of the university lies with the professors. Due to their experience and knowledge, on subject matter, I am able to acquire all the knowledge I need to complete my projects, research reports, and now my thesis of teaching children in the classroom.

The best thing about my school is the class size because it allows the students and teachers to develop a closer relationship with one another. The students aren't looked at as just numbers but we're actually remembered by name and face and we have more one-on-one time.

The best thing about my school would be the population. Bowie State university is the third oldest historically black university in the nation. Bowie State is known for its extensive satallite programs and prospering alumni. I personally feel that the population of this school is an important factor. Because Bowie State University is relatively small, the class sizes are also smaller. This allows students to have an interactive classroom experience with the professor. If a student needs to ask a question, the professor will most likely call on the student my name. this create comfort and a sense of belonging.

The computer lab is great. It has enough computers and staff to help.

The Greek Life, and activites HBCU

The best thing about my school was the support that we received from our professors. In addition, as a student as Bowie State University, you are able to get a clear understanding of who you are as an African American because many of the professors are African American.

The best thing about BSU is that it is very comfortable and more close (like a family) than other HBCU.

The best thing about my school to me are the class sizes. My classes are small so it is easier to learn and get help from a proffessor when you do not understand the material.

The people you meet. Everyone makes it so comfortable to be on campus.
