I attend their on line MSW Social Work degree program. I entered with my BA and will finish my MSW in two years. I work full time and I am a single mom so the online degree program was an excellent choice for me. I am able to do my class work in the evenings and on weekends. The courses are still rigorous and class interaction and participation is mandatory. You meet people from all over the U.S. in the classes. Brandman recently partnered with University of Massachusetts’s for its online degree programs and will soon be UMassglobal.

It’s a good school which offers flexible hours. They just started their absn (accelerated bachelors in nursing) which I applied to and got accepted, fortunately. I haven’t heard much yet from the first two cohorts (I’m with the third cohort) so I’m not sure how it will go. But we’ll see

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

Dear High School Christina, You are the first and only of seven siblings to graduate high school! Good job, Christi! (Insert pat on the back) Moreover, you are the first person in your family who will attain several degrees. Make sure you finish college with your Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education before you have children of your own. First, there is much to learn before you can teach others. Do not delay your dreams to fulfill the needs of capable individuals. Keep your eye on the prize, not to be distracted by boys disguised as men, behavior cloaked in sin, or self-destructive habits which delay your inevitable success. You are going to become a great teacher because excellent students make the best teachers! Also, you will succeed because time moves too swiftly to not chase your hopes and dreams, and meet your lofty goals. Many people have suffered worse and acquired more, so you can have a future filled with whatever you spend time doing and surround yourself with. Teach yourself by absorbing your surroundings, asking questions, and actively listening to elders with personal and professional experiences. Never hurry and never worry. I love you. Good Luck, Me.
