Briar Cliff University is a wonderful college! Very nice environment and the students are eager to learn! The counselors and teachers are always alert and eager to teach and help students be the best adults that they possible can be. Very great classes and sports/activities!
I greatly enjoyed my time at Briar Cliff. The campus was what initially dree me there. As my time there continued, I grew to enjoy the people. If you're looking for a small-college feel where your professors will know on a first-name basis and you can participate in activities regardless of your major, it's a place to consider.
I love the opportunities and overall culture at the University. There is a wide range of different ethnic groups, religions, and quite a few international students from all around the world. There are a large number of clubs to join, and we highly encourage people to volunteer in the city. It's overall just a really fun and amazing place to learn, socialize, and make memories.
It is well known that the acdemic advisors are writing reviews for these sites. This place is beyond pathetic. I'm transferring to a real university at end of semester. Faculty suck, services ae terrible and people here couldn't get into other places. Don't bother. Hopefully this place will go away and stop taking peoples money. No education just ridiculous place.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Briar Cliff University is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would tell a high school student and their parents that there are many different oppourtunities out there. There will be pros and cons with every place that you choose to go. The students need to decide what things are more important to them and then find the place that has those qualities.
When I came to Briar Cliff, I wish I would have known how to use the rescources that the school provides - known how to help myself - instead of constantly struggling alone or asking those around me for advice or directions.
A pre-med major or business major
Briar Cliff is truly a community, with the students faculty and stafff united with a common goal- academic success and the pursuit of life-enriching opportunities through great classes and a steady Franciscan Catholic presence to give it support.
My classmates mainly come from privileged backgrounds, are younger than 21, and are (for the most part) very hard working individuals.
When I first saw Briar Clif on the hill, I felt at home. I then was showed the campus and everyone who passed me was nice and said hello. I felt at home and I was.
Briar Cliff University is a small school. Less than 1,200 students are on campus in a year. It's a different environment because of the small-community mentality mixed with college life. It feels a lot like high school, and the worst thing about this is that it puts you in situations that are a lot like high school dramas; cat fights, rumors, and bullying are known to make an apperance on campus. However, the community of Briar Cliff is also very homey, it just really depends on what you like.
I dont think that there are no one type of person. I believe that anyone can attent this university. If you were to walk around the campus, you would see a very strong diversity of people. Everyone belongs here.
With classes offered only every other year, must take the class when it is offered
We had a hypnotist and many games. It was great.
Everybody knows everybody and there is a sense of safety and security. We are not afraid to walk around campus at night. This is a good thing because then the students are not scared and they can live how they want and come and go as they please.
From someone who doesn't go out and party or drink/smoke, my friends and I usually hang out and watch a movie, hit the town, or play games. When it is nice we explore the great outdoors.
The dorms are great size for a college dorm and there is more storage than you could even imagine filling.
The school I attend is best known for their Fransician vaules.
Our school is a tight-knit community on top of a hill looking over the city. We emphasize service and you will not go a day without passing by a smiling face!
Right now, two long term couples broke up and that didn't take long to become a controversial topic.
Bowling is a favorite or theology of Harry Potter.
Campus ministry of all types are huge. There are also a lot of service opportunities that are available.
