Brigham young university students are wonderful kids. Since its a private school centered on our relgion we have a school wide honor code that keeps our minds bodies and spirits clean and able to progress and succeed. We dont cuss, drink, or do drugs. I love being surrounded by kids who just want to succeed and improve day in and day out. Our school motto is "Enter to learn, go forth to serve". When i graduate i want to continue to help others progress and obtain their dreams. BYU students are competitive, creative and strive for success.

Most of my classmates in the University of Brigham Young are smart intellectual beings. There is a lot of competition amongst students because of the high expectations of the school; however, there are always exceptions. Most classmates are stressed over the expectations previously explained. Many sacrifices are made in order to acheive the desired goal of graduating.

They're amazing and friendly. Just about any body on campus is likely to buy you lunch under the right circumstances. Watch out for the people majoring in getting married, but other than that, there's nothing better than BYU.

BYU is a very competitive school but it is only a personal struggle. Overall BYU is a very friendly atmoshphere where almost everyone is willing to serve one another and help a fellow student out. It is easy to make friends or find people in class to study with or work with. I have made a friend in every class that I have attended. People are honest and trustworthy and are truly genuine in the things they do and say.

My classmates at BYU are very focused on the classes and the material, but also believe in taking time to help a student who is struggling and asks for help. There is a good communication system set up for student use and my classmates use it frequently for support, encouragement, or to work the most efficiently on group assignments. It is very easy to make friends of my peers because everyone is so willing to reciprocate the desire for friendship. Also, the programs are set up so that you move the the major with roughly the same people.

The students here a high achievers. More than two-thirds of them speak a foreign language and have lived in a foreign country for more than one year. All of them are very smart-- it's a hard school to get in to! But they are also very nice, friendly, and willing to help. Really good people, all the way around.

Many come from a Mormon background, but there's lots of diversity and many people are willing to question beliefs (not doubt) and learn more about other people. They're career-focused, but religion and family are often at least if not more important than future work.

Classmates are fun and in smaller classes (10-15 people) can become almost like a second family. In larger classes (500 people or more) there is some interaction and they are difinitely friendly, but you don't usually get too close to any of them since you might not see the same person more than once throughout the whole class.

Most of the men over the age of 23 are married. Probably the highest percentage of married men. Very willing to share notes or form study groups. I generally talk to you and be nice if you strike up converstation.
