If I could go back in time, I would tell myself to just go to college right out of high school. College isn't really as stressful as one may think. Plus, getting a degree soon after high school gives a person the advantage to go back to college and get a higher degree or a different one depending on ethe situation. The economy is not really a stable thing. One day you could have an job and not the next. Those with college degrees seem to have a better chance at keeping their jobs. Life isn't easy, but getting college out of the way first is the best thing to do. Life would have been so much different if I would have went right out of high school.
The best thing about Brown Mackie College is the one course a month schedule. I go to one class per month and get the small class and hands on training/teaching I need. I think doing this helps the teachers and the students. We don't get bored.
The worst thing about Brown Mackie is that since it is accreditied as a technical college, most schools will not transfer their credits.
I don't think there is one type of person who should attend Brown Mackie. People who attend come from all walks of life and backgrounds. I think the person need to has self motivation, and they need to know why they are attending college to begin with. As long as the person is willing to put forth an effort they would do fine.
That my nursing program is accelerated and that I will be able to complete my program in fifteen months.
My school is very versatile with many different programs to choose from and will give a person every opportunity to get a degree.
My classmates come from a broad selection of people from all walks of life.
The one course a month classes.
The pace is very quick, and the student/teacher ratio is lower than most schools.
