I attended Bryan starting in 2015 as a freshmen. My first year was amazing and I loved it. However, after my first year the campus became incredibly toxic and continued getting worse. All staff had favorites, students were nice to your face but terrible behind your back. I loaded up on credits in order to graduate early to leave that environment. If you met me today after attending school with me you’d realize I’m a completely different person because I’m no longer in that environment. The academics aren’t challenging, I graduated with a 3.2 without studying for a single class. Diversity is lacking and it shows. If you aren’t a perfect, innocent Christian or an athlete you’re going to have a hard time due to favoritism and cliques. If I could go back and do it over, I would’ve went to another school in a heartbeat.
My overall opinion of Bryan is that it is a well rounded and Christ centered school. From what I have seen, the majority of the students attending are there to glorify Christ and to learn. The academic and athletic communities are both very kind, honest, and are always there for you. The faculty and professors can easily be reached and the coaches are there to help you grow and connect in community as well as grow in Jesus.
I am so appreciative of Bryan College. They have made life so much easier by always being available to assist me in any way. This includes teachers, advisors, and anyone else you may think of. Bryan College truly wants to help people receive a higher education.
I love this college. I was terrified of what my college experience would be like, but when I came here, I was flooded with people who wanted to make friends, build community, and help each other in our lifelong goals. the faculty and staff are always available to help not only with academics, but also everyday life.

I believe that choosing a college depends both on one's values. one is more dedicated to school work and strives for a successful future, they should look for a school who's values match that. However, if one wants to pay thousands of dollars to party, skip class, and pay off student loans until they're retired, well, there are plenty of schools that offer that kind of education. Tere are schools that offer both a good education and an exciting social life. These are the kind of schools where memories are created and life-long friends made. Schools where education is priority, and offered by professors who care and love what they do. This is a decision that changes the rest of one's life. What do you choose?
Although small schools have positive aspects such as making close friends, sometimes this atmosphere provides for people being in one another's business. Sometimes people at this school portray that they are better than others, but it just depends on what kind of personality you have as to whether you can take it or not.
Christian. It's very Christian based, so if that bothers you then it's probably not a good idea to apply here. I love it. I've grown up in church all my life, so it's pretty cool to me to go to school with people who most of them have the same religious values as me. If you're not Christian, or you just don't believe in anything then it would probably be ok for you to come here. It could change your mind on your beliefs and you could get yourself on the right path. Thanks.
My school is blend of ages, cultures, races and experience.
My classmates are dedicated, involved, and motivated students.
Nothing, I was pretty well informed...
The fun
Someone who is looking for a big school where they can just blend in. If you aren't interested in living for Christ and interacting with other believers, you probably won't like Bryan.
They are always there to help at anytime.
Bryan College is known for it's rich heritage of training young people to view and interact with the world in a way that maintains a biblical perspective. This idea of pursuing a Christian worldview was established at the forming of the institution, which is in keeping with the ideas of the man who inspired the college, William Jennings Bryan. If asked what Bryan stands for, most students would answer with community in addition to worldview. Thanks to the small size to the campus, there is a sense of community that is hard to find in many colleges.
The atmosphere and community among students is definitely the best thing about Bryan College. Because of its small size, students get to know each other really well, and there's always a friend to sit with in the cafeteria or in chapel. Also, cliques aren't as prevelant as in high school or some other small colleges. The friendships and relationships formed among students and with professors are invaluable, and they make the college experience much more fulfilling and enjoyable.
The most frustrating thing about my school is our current President, Steven Livesay, who refuses to listen to his faculty and students and instead has his own agenda.
My school has two complaints that I hear more than others and those are: We need better parking and I wish we had better food.
There is no Greek scene at Bryan.
