What's the dating scene like?

Of my friends who date women, I hear a lot of them have issues with gossip/past-partners. This is a small community, and you never know whose toes you're stepping on. That being said, I know a lot of girls in happy relationships, and still more who like to keep things casual. Of my straight friends (myself included), there's nothing stopping anybody from meeting guys in the city, at Haverford/Swat/Penn, or just out in town.
