Butler University is known for being a private university that emphasizes making relationships with fellow students. There are numerous extracurricular programs at this university that can enable lifelong friendships no matter what a person is interested in; whether it is volunteer work, sports, or academic-related fields, there is always some organization that any student will enjoy. However, what I believe to be Butler University’s best known feature is its outstanding science, fine arts, pharmacy, and other programs that earned this college its ranking as the second best Midwestern University that grants master’s degrees by US News.

Pharmacy and Dance

My school is best known for its pharmacy program due to the fact that it has a direct admission policy, in which pre-pharmacy students maintaining a certain GPA and grades in a set of required classes for the major. More recently, Butler became known for its second place basketball team.

Its best known for its academic integrity, its great connection with graduate schools, medical schools etc, and businesses/professionals, and sadly the tendancy for some of its students to be a little stuck up (but still really intelligent).

A good basketball team and a good academic reputation. Students are known to be very professional.

My school has strong academic programs in fine arts, pharmacy, and psychology just to name a few. We are also really well known for our basketball team.

Our school is proud of DIVERSITY. We aren't diverse. Most of the the girls are dancers. A lot of kids are eploratory or business. Usually people have never heard of Butler except for their basketball team.
