Butte college is a very nice community college. One of my favorite things about Butte is the professors, most of the professors are Grade A, you can tell that they want you to succeed. They are almost always available and willing to help. Another benefit is location they are located among rolling green hills, it’s a truly beautiful campus. Although they are located outside of any city they do offer a schedule of free bus rides.
I think Butte College is a great school with good teachers. I have only been during Covid so it has taken some getting used to for myself and the teachers. The price is great, especially if you are a local because it is free when you take the right steps.
Butte is a great place to start.
I absolutely love Butte College; Butte College prides itself in putting students first and makes sure everyone feels comfortable not only in classes, but also while participating in events on campus. Butte College also takes pride in sustainability because we are one of the top leaders in sustainability in California as well as we are the first College to become grid positive. One of Butte College's values is diversity in our community. We work hard to make sure everyone has a voice as well as feels safe on our campus. We have events during the semester associated with diversity such has tributes to specific individuals who had a lasting impact on groups of people like Nelson Mandela. Finally, Butte College offers 160 different degrees and programs ranging from our Welding program, which is one of the top in the state, to our many allied health programs like EMT, RN, Police, Fire, Respiratory Health, etc. All of the staff and faculty members care deeply for the students and do everything they can to ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to achieve the highest success not only in our academic studies, but in our lives in general.

If there was one thing that I know now and wish I could tell myself in high school, it would have to be that: if I want anything in this world, it takes more than wishing for it. In high school, I wanted my future to be planned out and organized; a smooth ride. However, now that I am older and considerably wiser, I now realize that anything good in this world does not come without hard work. I would tell my high school self that the road ahead is rough, and there is no one that's going to help you. So, you must help yourself. Nothing about college life is easy: the juggling of a professional, scholastic, and social live; the constant reading and writing; the seemingly overbearing exams; and not to mention the cost. With all of these stresses though, the only thing stopping a person from succeeding is oneself. I would tell the younger me that, while the road ahead won't be easy, hard word, dedication, and discipline are the only tools you need to build a successful future.
I couldn't ask for a more uplifting and reliable group of people that I am proud to call my peers at Butte College.
commuting to and from school can be difficult because you may have classes in two or more different cities.
Being a green, environmentally concious school. Aaron Rodgers played football for the school.
The best thing about our school is how much they help us with homework. They are careful not to tell us the answers but guide us in finding out how to do the problem. I like the athletic program where they make the athlete's study 3 hours a day in the Learning Resource Center where we usually get our homework done.
The kind of person who should attend Butte College is a person who wants to give back to their community by being role models for their families.

The campus is what is so unique, it is a wildlife refuge. The campus has hundreds of acres covered with all types of agriculture. But what makes it most unique is the staff, so helpful and undersstanding.
What reality really is.
I often tell my friends that attending Butte is like studying at on big nature preserve. Our school has a serious committment to improving the eviroment. Butte College is a Member of The American Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education and the American Council on Renewable Energy. Our focus on sustainability is reflected in our curriculum, in our campus design, our daily operations and in our student activities. Additionally, our campus has one of the largest tutoring centers in the state. There is a lot of assitance to succeed in college and in life, which is awesome.
