I do not believe that there is any kind of person that should NOT attend this school. Butte College has such diversity amongst the students, that it should be celebrated and embraced. From high school students to those who have already earned a bachelor's degree, we all have so much to learn from each other. I appreciate the variety of cultures and life experiences that we, as students, collectively bring to the classroom each day.
Students who dislike commuting. Students who dislike small classes. Students who do not want to take college seriously, i.e. students who are not motivated to learn.
Everyone can attend as long as they don't cause trouble for others.
Someone who is coming here to party. Most of the students live in Chico, which is a very big party city. Butte is known for students showing up the first couple weeks, then drop out because they get caught up in they partying. So if your a person who gets caught up in that, and really likes to party. The odds are its not going to work out for you.
