North Dakota's Tuition Program

North Dakota offers several tuition savings programs. For instance, check out the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP). It has tuition reduction for both public and private colleges in North Dakota. It enrolled 90 out-of-state students in 2016-2017. In fact, the total amount of tuition saved was about $657,000.

As a result, private colleges offer a 10% reduction on tuition rates. Public colleges agree to charge no more than 150% of in-state school tuition. The savings fall between $500 and $5,000. A few states such as Nebraska and Minnesota participate in this program.

North Dakota is also a member of the Western Undergraduate Exchange. This program enables students to pursue degrees in one of 15 Western states at an in state tuition rate.
