Cabrini University Top Questions

Describe the students at your school.

Steven

they are the most caring, thoughtful, educated, fun, outgoing, studious, and I have met friends I will keep forever.

Allie

Regardless of whether or not you love everyone on campus and want to be good friends with everyone, people are generally nice on campus. There is a lot of courtesy and kindness on this campus. When you walk into a class you do not have to feel awkward or scared that you do not know anyone in there, because chances are you will meet a new friend. There is always someone who will hold the door for you, or say excuse me when they accidentally bump into you. I do not think anyone has to feel like they are being judged for being who they are at Cabrini. You do not have to feel uncomfortable when you walk into the cafeteria to find a place to sit, or when you walk into Jazzman's and sit by yourself with a book. The people are generally welcoming, interesting, and friendly. Not everyone is rich, and not everyone is from the area. There are people who go to Cabrini from all over the United States. Many are from PA, NJ, and DE because of the location.

Michele

Most students wear sweats and hoodies to class, or jeans and a hoodie. There is no need to dress up for class :) Most Cabrini students are from NJ, NY, PA, DE, and MD. We do have students from all over though, including international students and students for CA, FL, CT and more. Most Cabrini students are from the middle-class. Politics aren't a big thing at Cabrini although there are Democrat & Republican organizations and a History Club. Religion can be a part of your experience here or not at all, its up to you it is never force on you in anyway.

Laura

It really depends on who you befriend.

Christine

I've never had a problem on campus with the student body. People are very friendly. If you are in the cafeteria and you are sitting alone, people will come sit with you. They aren't afraid to interact with you. People's status and how much money they make or what their parents make are very seldom talked about. People do talk politics, especially since teachers eat in the cafeteria with you. They do like to talk and interact with students and get a debate started! People usually always get along with their neighbors in their dorms as well.

Jillian

Most Cabrini students are from the Tri-State County (PA, NJ, DE). However, a few students do travel to Cabrini from other states such as CT, GA, and LA. We are a predominantly white campus, however, there are other ethnic groups on campus. There aren't any racial slurs heard on campus - everyone pretty much gets along. I believe there is a strong LGBT group on campus that don't usually encounter problems. Cabrini has even added a Student Diversity Organization/Office on campus so Cabrini can develop a more understanding relationship with different cultures/choices.

Kelly

My classmates are very diversified yet we all get along.

Laura
