Cabrini University Top Questions

Is the stereotype of students at your school accurate?

Allie

The stereotypes about Cabrini students are far from accurate. Cabrini students are hardworking, motivated, and really do something extraordinary. Cabrini is selective with accepting students and they definitely do not accept everyone. Cabrini offers many majors aside from education, and the academic programs are all strong and unique. I think any major at Cabrini prepares students immensely for the career of their choice. All students who attend Cabrini are not wealthy and plenty of us shop the clearance racks at KOP mall! Cabrini is NOT an all girls school at all, and I would not say they are very conservative at all. Cabrini college is a Catholic College, but you do not have to be Catholic to attend. There is no pressure to become Catholic, while you are here either. If you want religion to be apart of your education it is there in abundance, but if not it does not have to be at all. Many of our sports teams do excellent in the CSAC, along with Lacrosse. Golf, Soccer, Tennis, Track, Swimming, Softball, Volleyball, and Basketball are all very competitive. So are our 'intramural and rec sports! Cabrini supports social justice, which inevitably creates diversity awareness on campus. Cabrini students come from all walks of life, ethnicity, and zip codes.

Not really, it is a mostly white campus and some people are wealthy but a lot of people here are middle-class.

Laura

Not at all, of course you'll find some students like this, but we're not all like this.

Jillian

To an extent. We are no longer an all girls school - we are co-ed, however, there are more girls than guys. The school comes with a hefty price tag, however, we are all not rich kids. Most of us will be paying loans until we're 90 years old. Cabrini is a predominantly white campus, however, there are other races on campus as well.
