California State University-Channel Islands Top Questions

Describe your favorite campus traditions.

Emily

The school is best known for being the former "mental hospital". The buildings all reflect a unique architecture from the early to mid 1900s that shows the land's unique history, even though the school itself has only been open for 10 years. It is commonly referred to as an "up-and-coming" campus, Ventura County's "hidden secret", and a school unique in the fact that it is located on its own metaphoric "island", being a couple miles from any other buildings or homes.

Angelica
