Anyone.
This school is a commuter school and I recommend students who have the desire to learn and succeed with little interference attend here. If you're looking for a party place, CSU Channel Islands is not the place to go. There are just under 4,000 students, so if you want to meet new people and become a part of a school with a big history, Channel Islands may not be your first choice. This is a school for people who truly care about their education.
A student that wants small class sizes and wants their professors to remember their name
People who are friendly like smaller classes don't mind having semi quiet weekends and who will actually participate in their classes
Anyone is thinking that the sterotypical college experience isn't for them or someone who is looking for something different in their college experience. Also, the school has a great art program so anyone interested in a career in art.
Those students who don't have a lot of money but want to get a college degree.
Someone who likes small classes and doesn't mind that the school is not that well known yet. Also someone who enjoys having a one on one connection with their professors.
The type of person that should attend this school is one who enjoys learning and is not much of a party goer. They should want to be there to learn and also have fun with the students around them.
Anyone who is looking for a school that wont have those huge lecture hall sized classes, anyone with a passion for what they want to do. Anyone who wants to go to college and love it.
