honestly i love it
It harder to make friends since there isnt that many freshman activities
I don't have anything that frustrates me at CSUDH.
Tuition is too high, keep raising tuition every year and gets hard for people to pay out of pocket when they don't have a job. Classes are not available every semester for some majors (Health Science) to graduate on time.
The most frustrating thing in my school would be paying for parking and waiting to receive financial aid.
The most frustrating thing about my school is that if you do not register for classes the first two weeks that you can start to register, it is hard to get into classes. Because my school had many class cuts, more students are getting the same classes, and they are too small for every student to be in. Some people are on a wait list, and some wont know until 3 weeks into the class if they are finally in the class or not. Its stresfull and an overwhelming process.
The most frustrating thing about my school is that there is not enough staff working in the financial aid office. When ever I go in there, there are only two people working with the students and on some days there is only one person working with the students. I have waited for over an hour just to speak with a financial aid officer. This is probably due to budget cuts. I personally feel they are under-staffed, and it is causing the students to wait for hours.
The most frustrating thing about my school is when books are not available.
Finding parking the first couple of weeks of school
The most frustrating thing would have to be, the first two weeks of the semester and the long lines for financial aid and the registrar's office. people are all trying to pay, and get their financial aid at the same time, and the long lines are hectic and long. that's why its best to pay online, buy parking permits online as well. Those lines can get nerve wracking, but other than that, everything is good around campus.
The most frustrating thing about my school has to be trying to make sure that your financial aid is in order. at the beginning of each semester there is always a bunch of students who get their classes dropped because of something financial aid has misplaced. it also takes forever for scholarships to get posted which makes it even longer for us to get our refund checks back.
The many different people you meet and become friends for life.
At times it feels as though some students are not required to work as hard as other students. For example, Dominguez tailors to fit the needs of single parent, low income individuals.
The baseball coach
Theres more of an older crowd at my school. Theres no night life because all the older people come at night so i guess there really cant be one.
The most frustrating thing about my school is that sometimes its difficult to get information that you need from people in the financial aid office .
I would have to say the same as above. I have to work due to just losing financial aid (had 2 deaths in the family) and was unble to attend class. So I need to be able to take classes in the afternoon and night and they really didnt have much to chose from so i had to take on a minor so I wouldn't just be taking random classes just to be enrolled in something. This was the most frustrating thing!
