It is a reasonably sized campus with nice scenic trees and grass plus some new and old buildings. The social life is not so great if you’re not in a sport, greek life or club. There’s not much to do around the area without a car and around the city. Neighboring cities like san francisco and san jose are more social cities compared to this less populated and eventful city! The teachers and education seem average.

I’m a freshmen but overall I feel really great to be here of course the only thing I could complain about is the housing payment hahah but of course there’s options for everyone , also it’s a very diverse school and there is so much positive and anyone can be anything they desire.

  11. What's the most frustrating thing about your school?

One of the most frustrating aspects of California State East Bay is the lack of classes offered at various times of the day. As a working professional, I have a limited schedule of availablity and therefore enjoy taking night classes or those geared toward working adults. Unfortunately, my experience has been that various courses, especially general education courses, can be difficult to fit into a busy schedule since these will only be offered at a certain time with no more than one course option per quarter. This forces me to change my work schedule around my school schedule.
