The professors at CSUN are, for the most part, great. A few that I could point out as the most interesting, knowledgeable, and helpful are Dr. Moreno, Dr. Bradberry, Dr. Brownlee, and Dr. Bayes. Professors at CSUN are not rewarded or merited on their research, although research is definitely important. Due to that fact, most professors are more concerned with the quality of their teaching and their students than of the quality of their research.
The professors I have had up to this point have been very good. They have been very accesible and very knowledgeably about their fields of study. They really try to engage the students even though sometimes the students do not want to participate. They are very friendly and approachable.
