I love the faculty. A few in particular have made my transition into college work a very smooth experience.
California State University of San Bernardino has a huge emphasis on their department of Business and Public Administration. Their guidance asiistis us in keeping business majors motivated and to keep striving for their goals. Though I wish their was more tutoring for certain classes, I know they try to do the best they can to help us succed in our future careers.
I believe that the best thing about Iowa State University is the ability for students to choose a mixture of courses and requirements that will help guide them towards their dreams and goals post-graduation. Advisers and faculty make it very easy to create a class schedule that fits each student individually. I believe that this is important because it allows each student to form their own future, instead of creating one path that should work for everyone. ISU's staff is very focused on helping each student individually.
The best thing about my school is that it offers more than 70 traditional baccalaureate and master's degree programs, education credential and certificate programs, and as well as a doctoral program. This offers a variety of opportunities for incoming students to achieve and succeed for their future. The most important factor about my school is the support system of the counselors. they really do their best job to help the students understanding their path to life. They are patient and always understanding.
I feel like the best thing about my school is that it is a very diverse community. The school has several different ethnicities so no one feels as though they are a minority.
The motto "come here, go anywhere" is true. From sciences and sports to creative arts, the college has a wide range of possibilities for excellence. I had instructors who cared about me as a student and you will too. There's room here for students who know their path and will excell as well as room for those of us who aren't sure of where we will end up but are willing to start the journey and finish well. Attitude is paramount. Pare your work attitude with the school's attitude of willing guidance and you'll succeed.
I feel the best thing about this school is the instructors. I came in new to the environment and had professors go out of their way to offer personal mentoring and advice about my major. The personal guidance the professors are willing to give students shows how dedicated the faculty is towards students' success. Within the classroom, the quality of instruction also reflects the faculty, as classes are involved and offer ample opportunities for discussion.
The best thing about my school is that it has a really good program for my major.
The community and the size. It's not overlly crowded, but not lonely either.
The people
CSUSB (Palm Desert) is very warm and welcoming. The classroom setting is a tight close community with a great teacher to student ratio. I felt very pleased in my selction of particular universtity. The campus is well presentable and easy to naviagate. The help and support of classmates and professors is a plus. I love that the professors care about my education and desire for me to do well in my pursuit of a degree. If I ever have a question, the staff and school office is always there to help. The classrooms are very nice and fitting too.
First and foremost, the teachers offices hall. The most informed and influential people all smashed together in one hall can only have positive outcomes. Second to the faculty, are the facilities. The Libray and the Gym are both run by intelligent personnel who actually listen. The library is packed with all the works you'll need, and the gym is state of the art and underused.
What I enjoy most about my school is how well connected it stays with it's students. I always know when something is going on and they make sure of that. Since I commute to school, it should be difficult for me to be involved and aware with whats going on, but that is not the case at Cal State San Bernardino.
What I like best about California State University, San Bernardino is that anyone can fit in here. Whether you're quiet or loud, uninvolved or involved, you'll have a good time here and find what you want to do in life.
My school has the amenities of a larger college, including an amazing Recreation and Fitness center, however it still has the feel and atmosphere of a smaller campus where you know alot of people and everybody is very close.
There social work program, because its a very hands on program.
Cal State San Bernardino has an excellent array of programs and degree opportunities that other schools in our area do not offer. I am a student of the Social and Behavioral Sciences majoring in Psychology which is a program that can be found at any school. While most schools only offer educational training in clinical psychology, however, CSUSB offers a concentration in Biological Psychology which allows me to study psychology from more of a biological science perspective and paving the way for me to continue my education going more into a research field of Psychology.
I love the people and the atmosphere . People are so welcoming and there is such diversity that you are sure to find friends who complete you as a person. In my experience, people walk up to other and are welcomed. People are not judgmental and are always open to new experiences. Everyone I have met wants to know you and if you need help there is always someone who will help you. While there is a seriousness, there is also a light-heartedness that can otherwise be hard to find. My school is the best.
The best thing was the ability to make my own schedule. When I attended there were multiple class times available for all general education courses which allowed me to work while I went to school.
The fact that they understand who comprises the student population and try to cater to them. The greatest thing about school there was the interaction I had with the faculty that genuinely cared about and made connections with their students.
Cal State San Bernardino is a beautiful campus and has great faculty. My professors were enthusiastic and thouroughly enjoyed teaching. The psychology department was very helpful with any questions I had about working towards graduation. Even as an alumni I still am connected to the school through internships and assisting in research. My mentor is extremely helpful, in that I am still deciding on a graduate program. A majority of the faculty here is willing to assist you in furthering your education and aquiring your goals. The friendly faculty here is what made my experience at CSUSB great!
The best thing about my school would have to be the leadership opportunities available. Greek life at Cal State changed my college experience. By being Greek I am opened up to a different experince entirely. I have the opportunity to make life-long firned, raise money for great causes, take on leadership roles, as well as influence my academics, in a positive way. Also, I do admire out schools Santos Manuel Student Union.
The location! I worked full-time in Fontana and lived in Colton at the time...and, the university flexible schedule allowed me the opportunity to squeeze in my classes around my work schedule.
The EOP counselors and (most of the) Criminal Justice professors are wonderful! The campus itself is beautiful!!
Efficiency is key here at CSUSB. Facilities are well managed, up-to-date, and very clean; different technologies are readily available; and the overall campus is simple and easy to navigate around. Even through the current economic crisis, I have never had a problem getting the classes I need. I'm a busy person. I need to be in and out of places quickly as I have other priorities (work, family, etc.) to attend to. Though many students, including myself, are seemingly uninvolved on campus, I appreciate how well the school accomodates my hectic lifestyle.
One of the best things in my school is that their is a Liberal Studies program, Liberal Studies is my major, i get a lot of help, advice is also available and I am offered diffrent tracks, concentrations, the liberal studies program also makes sure we stay on track and they have the pretests we could take there. Ex: cbest, cset exams
i think the best thing about my school is the teachers and their willingness to help you and further your education.
What I consider the best thing about my school are the people in general, putting emphasis on the professors. So far attending my college classes the discussions that take place in the classroom have helped me open up my mind and begin to think about my life, others and situations around the world. Along with that the friends I have met around campus are simply amazing and I like the fact they have goals in life and strive to be successful. So we have something in common and are positive influences on each other's lives.
The best thing about California State University San Bernardino is the diversity of people, events, and classes on campus. There are quite a few activities that students can participate in especially the sororities and fraternities. Many of the classes on campus have engaging professors rather than those that manage to quickly lose the students attention.
My program and the Chair of our department. I am majoring in Anthrpology and will also graduate with a certificate of Archaeology. The department head is a world renowned Archaeologist who has been published many times.
The best thing about my school is a major focus on career. My school focuses on education that applies to the work place, after graduation most students join the work force. There are many opportunities for internships and for community involvment.
The best thing about California State University is the tuition price. Compared to most other universities, California State is a lot cheaper, and a student can get there monies worth off the education assuming the student stays focused on his or her classes.
The fact that the students are very friendly and that the staff truly helps the students.
I enjoy how there is such diversity in both the instructors and the students. Having diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds makes it very interesting to take classes. There is a great freedom and acceptance because there are so many differenet kinds of people here at this campus. Diversity encourages students to feel free to express new thoughts a nd ideas and these are welcomed by faculty and students alike.
The professors are really nice and accomadating; they always help you and care about you. The school is pretty and I like the mounitans. There is a diverse amount of people attending the college which is nice and it is great to learn more about different types of people.
I enjoyed the location of the school. It is right next to moutains which are beautiful all year. It is close to Los Angeles, San Diego, and Big bear Mountain. There are places to travel to year round which are at most an hour away.
Cal State San Bernardino is a great campus. It so many great courses and the professers are so helpful and knowledgable. My major is Art History and I chose this school based on the program they offer. My learning experience has been nothing but pleasant and I have enjoyed every class I have taken. This school also is career centered and does a wonderful job of helping to place you in a career that cooresponds with your major.
This school is very clean when it comes to the environment. It is a very "green" campus. The social life is very nice so you will get to interact with many people . This school specializes in the sciences so if you are wanting to go into the medical field, this college is recommended.
I love the fact that CSUSB is a somewhat new school. This gives it's students the advantage to pick their classes fairly easily. I've enjoyed each class so far and their teachers have been very helpful and i have learned a lot from them.
The availability of faculty and the small class sizes go together as the best thing about my school. It is easy to get to know the faculty since the typical class size for me less than 40 students. This means the faculty's office hour often go unused, allowing you ample time to converse with the professor of your choice.
Lots of locations to stop and read or socialize, lots of restrooms and lots of diverse people.
The Location Of cal State San Bernardino is one of the best things about this school, as it is literally and hours drive to the mountains, deserts, and beaches. This also adds to how diverse this campus is and to the very divers amounts of people that attend Cal State San Bernardino. The schools rather large size and relatively small but growing student body also is something else I consider very special about this campus. You don't feel like just another person in a huge sea of students.
Classes are available and there aren't many distractions.
What I consider to be the best thing at my shcool are the knowledgeable teachers in each department. They all have or had related jobs in the fields they are teaching which is a valuable asset to my education.
