Carleton College creates a bubble that no other college would have. A unique bubble of students who want to learnand have a wacky sense of humor that will make you comfortable. A bubble where everyone is a community celebrating Carleton traditions. It's another home where you can rely on others and get Hi's from people that you do not even know. It's a friendly home where I had made friends that I thought I would never made.

The best thing about Carleton College are the resources available to students in the form of both tangible items (computers, books, well-equipped academic buildings) and also the people who make up the college (faculty, staff, and fellow students). These resources are available to all students, and help ensure that time at Carleton is well-spent.

The best thing about Carleton is the acceptance of each other's differences. You can be friends with all types of majors, people from different backgrounds, and with different social styles but still find things in common. Another great part of Carleton are the student-faculty relationships. The faculty are really interested in their students and will spend time having conversations about their lives and students' lives on a regular basis, employ students for everything from babysitting to performing their research enthusiastically, and become involved in activities on campus so that their faces are seen inside and outside of classrooms.
