What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

STAY FOCUSED!!! There are so many distractions in college; new environment, meeting new friends, sporting events. It is important to remember all the hard work and sacrifice it took to get to college. It doesn't matter if it is the local community college, studying abroad or across the country. Graduate from college, THEN explore, enjoy yourself, your friends and activities after graduation. This does not mean never to laugh or have a good time, but school comes first. School is why you are there, remember the ultimate goal.

DON'T WAIT! Life is full of stops and go's and you will be ill prepared for it all without your education. You got caught up in the forever and never thought about the now. Nothing is forever and you are not expected to choose your forever fresh out of high school. Choose your now, choose what you love to do, and if that changes, there are resources and Colleges to assist you in all your changes. There are 24 hours in a day, roughly half that will be spent making money. The worst thing about a job is to think about what you do as, just that - a job or a burden. Find something that will jaz you up in the morning and you will be excited about accomplishing. There are so many complications and obstacles that life will put in your path, don't let your job be one of them. There is a lot about life and learning that you will master along the way, happiness is at the for front of it all. What you choose to do in life should make you happy, period. Look for that and don't hesitate. From me.
