I haven't attended yet and will be attending for my first year there in the fall. From what I know, the people are really friendly and there is good student to teacher ration. They really emphasize on the closeness between the student body and the faculty, plus they have a lot of cool things going on all the time so one might not get bored. From what I have read, they have a really awesome science program and other student's really appreaciate the good education.

What I liked best about Carroll was the size. The classes have an average student to teacher ratio of 14:1 and the smaller size gives teachers the ability to get to know their students well and become invested in a more personal education. Students and teachers often carry on relationships after graduation and these relationships are highly beneficial to the careers of the students.

Abigail

The best thing about Carroll is the campus community. So many of our students love this school and this state. It's encouraging to be somewhere where your peers are enjoying their learning environment and not going home every weekend leaving all of the out-of-staters with nothing to do.

Lindsey

Carroll is surrounded by mountains with Hauser Lake which is perfect for people who love the outdoors. It gets cold enough in the winters to build a bonfire in the middle of a frozen lake and go ice fishing with some friends. Not too many colleges offer such a great recreational experience!

Nathan

I love the community, the religious identity of the school, the academic integrity, and the how challenging Carroll is.

Nick

The smaill class sizes. It is very easy to approach professors.

Probably the best thing about Carroll is how it surprises me every day how wondeful of a place it is. Not only is the Montana setting impressive and awesome, the people and teachers are so friendly and welcoming. I know that my teachers care about how I do here and it is the norm for students to say hello to eat other although they have never met. I love the community feel due to the small size and how that makes for many avenues to meet others. The advisors are wonderful too.
