The best part aobut Case Western is how cozy the campus can be. It is not like those huge state schools and I see familiar faces all the time. Classes are relatively close, with most of campus being accessable by foot. Whether it's just to hang out or study with a group, I feel Case makes doing these activities easier in general. In addition, Case Western is conveniently located right by UH hospitals. This lets people, especially those interested in the medical field, to get involved and get experience or simply volunteer to give back. Overall, Case is cozy.
Once a person gets involved with something on campus, it's hard to be lonely or bored. Extracurricular activities, groups, clubs, sports, greek life, and more are available to pull a person out of the academic world to recouporate their brains and it is extremely helpful.
The best thing about our school is the professionalism that is granted to us students passed on through our professors in the classroom while providing us with quality activites and the opportunites to interact with the actual work force with clients.
There is an sense of camaraderie on campus rarely found in other universities of the same caliber.
The best aspect of Case Western Reserve University is that every person on campus has a passion. Whether it is research on Alzheimer's Disease, playing the violin, practicing the sport of fencing, or serving the Cleveland community, every student and faculty member is enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoys what they do. This is terrific because it stimulates me to continue to do my best and to pursue every one of my interests.
I simply love how approachable everybody is. It truely has the friendliest and smartest people I've ever met. It's so easy to make friends- even the graduate students are friendly. No one 'picks on the freshman.' Everyone shares their knowledge and are more than willing to help out other students.
Staff because everyone at Case, professors, administrators, are always willing to go out of their way to help you achieve what you want and do well.
Opportunities after undergrad.
The best thing about Case Western Reserve University is the research opportunities. While there are so many great, prestigious academic universities in the United States and the world, Case Western has a tremendously significant research emphasis and is renown for having a great scientific research community in the nation. The laboratory experience an undergraduate student can have by the end of their first year is amazing in that very few students would be able to get that opportunity elsewhere.
There is a great deal of opportunity at Case: Research, clubs, labs, classes, professors, cultural events, museums... It's all there for the taking if one only takes the initiative
Case Western is a well known university, with a curriculum that challenges the students to do their absolute best. As such, upon graduation from Case, a student has a degree from one of the premier institutions in the nation. With this degree, a graduate is easily recognized as one of the most knowledgable new minds with that degree. Finding a job upon graduation is easy with a degree from Case. Another major part of my life here has been Greek Life, one of the best in the nation, and I agree.
One of the best things about CWRU are that the professors are experts in their fields and the housing options on campus are pretty good. However, what i think the best thing is how studious the campus is. People here do party and have a good time but we all know when to buckle down and do work. Many people are very devoted in what they do and we all know to respect that.
great education for the price
The high tuition and endowment allow for many employment and research opportunities to help student pay for college and get practical hands-on experience, as well as throrough student services and strong technology tools.
The people you meet - great professors and friends you'll have for the rest of your life.
The size of the campus is great! It is large enough to give you decent exercise, and small enough to get to classes on time without bus or bicycle transportation.
