My opinion of Cedar Valley College overall is positive. I participated in dual-credit there before becoming a full-time college student. Throughout my entire experience, professors did a wonderful job, and I always felt like I truly understood the subject matter of the class. I had pleasant experiences in condensed five and eight week courses as well. If you show an interest in learning, the professors at Cedar Valley College will help you achieve your goals. Campus atmosphere is less favorable. It is not bad, but I would rather stay with a group of friends. Overall, my opinion of CVC is positive.
I am a dual credit student, therefore, I am still a high school student but attend cedar valley college to get an associates degree when I graduate high school. My high school has given me the opportunity to experience the college life as a high school student and I love the experience. Cedar Valley College (CVC) has a friendly staff , good security, it has a book store, and it has good places to eat around the city. What I like about CVC is that it has a trail and a forest that you can explore and it is very interesting and very adventurous.
Cedar Valley College has been a place I've been attending since my freshman year in high school. I'm currently doing early college and see this school as a great introduction to the real world. It has provided me a base of education that I know will be helpful in the long run. Although it may need some changes, I know this is a great college for any beginner.
It is a great school and i am proud to be a student there. They have amazing professors who are always on hand if we need anything. The food is wonderful and the cafeteria is always clean and presentable. The academic advisors are wonderful as well, and they answer any question we may have. The students are friendly, helpful, and easy to get along with. I am glad i chose Cedar Valley as my choice school, and I would absolutely refer others to attend.

Whatever you do, stay focused on your goals. Each decision you make daily effects your future. Study hard and stay spiritually inclined. There will be some tough times but, it's not the end of the world. Tomorrow is a new day, and you can start over. Prioritize, and always remember your education is the most importanat thing. It's something that no one can take away from you. At last but not least, seek to find your place in the world. Whatever that is, strive to be the best.
People who believe that they don't need to work hard shouldn't go here. Although it is a Dallas Community College, there are still classes that require much work and study time. People who just want to slack off shouldn't go here.
My classmates are between the ages of 18 and 55 + most with a desire to either own their own business or work in finance.
You can get your basics or an associates degree for less money and if you get financial aid you could have extra money in your pockets. You can also take job related classes to help with your career and you can go online or to a campus close to your home. You can also do dual credit while your still in high school so once you get to college your basics are aleady out the way and you can have a degree in two years.
I wish I had known more about online classes and the the amount of help that's available for students to help them be sucessful in completing their education.
Everybody should attend. Rather your straight out of high school and don't know what you want to do yet or if you are 35 and you want to get into management or advance in your career and would like to get the skills you need to succeed.

My school is great, I love it. They are very organized and understanding of my needs as a working mother. The classes are flexible and the professors are wonderful. I couldn't as k for a better school right now.
The most frustrating thing about my school is some of the professors. Some professors tend to give students a hard time for no reason. There is quite a bit that people can learn from though. All one has to do is learn how to talk to the professors and everything should be fine.

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible.
