Central College Top Questions

What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

Lyndi

I wish that I would have known more about classes and scheduling. During orientation, we signed up for classes. I met with an advisor, but I basically trusted that they would be able to help me pick an ideal schedule. However, I took way too many credits that first semester and had a much too difficult schedule as a Freshman. If I would have known more about classes and scheduling, things would have gone much better.

Before I came to Central College, I wish I had known how easy it is to become involved here. There are many different clubs, teams, and other extra-cirriculars to offer fun and excitement here, but I did not know how easy it was to take advantage of them until the end of my Sophomore year. If I had known sooner how easy it was to get involved, I would have been able to cultivate experiences and friendships much sooner.

They will help you get a better picture of the college.
