Because CCSU is a smaller school, the average class size is like that of a high school with around thrity students. This is beneficial for students looking to get more personal attention and assistance from the professor, but a student looking to sit in a large lecture hall would probably feel uncomfortabe with the smaller class sizes at this school.

This school is very open to diverse people. I personally know people of many religions, ethnicities, and academic ability here that are still able to find their niche, since CCSU provides so much for everyone. So I think anyone really can fit in and thrive here to better their future.

Someone who is looking for an extremely tight knit, D-1 Sport's going crowd. Those looking for a large population of students and especially a large population that stays on campus on the weekends. A student who does work or pay for some of their schooling may feel out of place.

I believe that all kinds of people should attend CCSU. Central welcomes different people with different beliefs and life-styles, but you also must remember to keep an open mind. Because there is such a variety of individuals, tolerance can not succeed without an open mind. But most people here are open minded.
