I think I was well prepared for this school. I chose a small campus because I didn't want to become a number. I wanted to learn in a school where my professors would know me by name and recognize me if they saw me outside of class. My one regret is that I didn't take advanced English classes in high school. It would have been nice to have those required courses out of the way!
I wish that I had known my own belief in myself that I can stand on my own two feet. The confidence in myselft that I gained the first two semester here will help me get through the last two years of college and the rest of my life.
"I wish I would have known more about college costs . "I know that sounds so stupid . You must be saying in your head, "How could you not know about the cost. Someone must have told you it would be expensive. " Well I did not want to go to college, I did not want to have a job, I did not want to talk to my parents about college. I was a pain. A month before school started my senior year I decide I want to go to college. I failed to plan, I am glad my parents didn't.
There is nothing that I didn't know when I came to school here. I really love it here at school, and I'm glad I chose CMU.
I wish I would have known that you could duel enroll in two colleges to fast track my degree program.
