I think I was well prepared for this school. I chose a small campus because I didn't want to become a number. I wanted to learn in a school where my professors would know me by name and recognize me if they saw me outside of class. My one regret is that I didn't take advanced English classes in high school. It would have been nice to have those required courses out of the way!

I wish that I had known my own belief in myself that I can stand on my own two feet. The confidence in myselft that I gained the first two semester here will help me get through the last two years of college and the rest of my life.

Someone must have told you it would be expensive. " Well I did not want to go to college, I did not want to have a job, I did not want to talk to my parents about college. I was a pain. A month before school started my senior year I decide I want to go to college. I failed to plan, I am glad my parents didn't.

There is nothing that I didn't know when I came to school here. I really love it here at school, and I'm glad I chose CMU.

I wish I would have known that you could duel enroll in two colleges to fast track my degree program.
